Flash Developer

Descrierea postului:
Primary purpose of this position (based in IASI) is to develop rich applications (stand-alone or integrated with 3rd party systems).
Your work will be performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with no or very limited travel required.
Responsibilities
You will develop Flash/Air applications as well as integrating them with back-end applications using XML. You will be able to develop alternative solutions to various programming problems and to evaluate them in collaboration with the development team.
You will collaborate with Project Managers in developing realistic expectations and estimating the effort required for performing development and integration tasks. You will assist Project Managers in developing relevant functional specifications.
You will collaborate with other members of the digital development team (front-end developers, content managers) as well as designers for development projects and for final validation of the product.
You will collaborate with client representatives and team members of other agencies for integrating our products with third party systems (mobile communication systems, etc.).
You will provide detailed activity reports for auditing and billing purposes.

Knowledge and qualifications
We expect you to have at least 3 years of experience in Flash development.
You must have:
• a generic feel about using classes and inheritance to script the behavior of Flash applications;
• strong ActionScript 3.0 knowledge;
• experience in assigning behavior (classes) to symbols;
• experience in using the Flash authoring tool to create animations;
• solid knowledge of OOP and design patterns;
• a thorough understanding of Internet communication protocols like HTTP and SMTP and the request-response work flow, as well as XHTML and Document Object Model.
Any of the following would be a plus:
• structuring and importing Photoshop documents;
• using the Flex authoring tool to create Flash applications using ActionScript;
• importing symbols created with the Flash authoring tool into Flex ActionScript projects, either at compiler time or dynamically;
• experience in working with SQL-based RDBMSs and XML (schemas, parsing);
• knowledge about working with a version control software.
You should have at least a working knowledge of English language (reading/writing).
Skills and abilities
Solid problem solving skills and ability to face new challenges that require creative approaches is a must.
Your ability to work well in a team environment along with desire to permanently learn new subjects are granting you success. Good personal communication skills, thoroughness and self-organization abilities are required.
